Service Description

📍 Location coming soon! We're finalizing our Anacortes location now. Thursdays, 4:30-6pm, 8 Weeks, Oct 22-Dec 17th Young makers learn to sew on a real sewing machine in a fun, hands-on class made for grades 2 to 5. Each week students learn a new skill, pick their own fabrics, and take home a project they made themselves. All materials and machines are provided. No patterns. No worksheets. Real, hands-on sewing from day one. Every Fall session Anacortes, students grab a machine and start creating together, working side by side across grades and building skills at their own pace. Projects change with the season, so what students make depends on when they join. Every project is different, every week is hands-on, and every student leaves with something they made entirely themselves. Includes a sewing machine and all fabric, thread, and notions for every project, bring your own machine if you'd rather use it. Taught by Stephanie Philbrick, founder of Positively Sewing, a self-taught designer with years of experience across her own collections and fashion shows, now teaching the next generation in a small group setting.
