Service Description

📍 Location coming soon! We're finalizing our Anacortes location now. Thursdays | 1:30 - 3 pm | 8 weeks | October 22 - December 17th A daytime sewing class for homeschool students in grades 2 to 12. Students learn machine sewing at their own pace, and the projects are scaled to each student's age and skill level, so siblings can come together. It's a great way to add art, math, and problem solving to your homeschool week. All materials and machines are provided. Only 10 spots per class. No patterns. No worksheets. Real, hands-on sewing from day one. Every Fall session homeschool students grab a machine and start creating together, working side by side across grades and building skills at their own pace. Projects change with the season, so what students make depends on when they join, and every student leaves each session having built something themselves. Includes a sewing machine and all fabric, thread, and notions for every project, bring your own machine if you'd rather use it. Taught by Stephanie Philbrick, founder of Positively Sewing, a self-taught designer with years of experience across her own collections and fashion shows, now teaching the next generation in a small group setting. Be the first to register! Sign up for our waiting list, and once the location is confirmed, waitlist families get the registration link first. 24 hours later registration opens to Positively Sewing followers, and then to the public. Get in while you can. So excited to be back, Anacortes! I can't wait to teach you the wonders of sewing, just in time for the holidays! Take a look at the pictures for a glimpse of what past students have made. The options are endless, and the skill lasts a lifetime. Sign up today, I can't wait to see you this fall!
