Late Start Sewing in Sedro-Woolley Grades 2-6 | Wednesdays, 8:45 to 10:15 am | 5 sessions Nov 4, Nov 18, Dec 2, Dec 9, Dec 16 Located at Montoya House of Arts | Limited to 12 students No patterns. No worksheets. Real, hands-on sewing from day one. This class is built around Sedro-Woolley’s late start Wednesdays, so your student can learn a lifelong skill before the school day begins. Every session includes a sewing machine and all fabric, thread, and notions. I do encourage students to bring their own machine from home (must be a full-size machine, no mini machines). Your teacher is Stephanie Philbrick, founder of Positively Sewing. She is a self-taught designer with over 15 years of sewing experience, her own collections, and fashion show work behind her. She now teaches in small groups so every student gets real attention. Montoya House of Arts is right there if you want to grab something on your way in or out. Pick up: All participants must be picked up on time. Liability Waiver, Medical Consent & Media Release Positive Change, LLC By registering for or participating in any class, camp, workshop, lesson, or event hosted by Positive Change, LLC, I acknowledge and agree to the following: I understand that sewing activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to the use of sewing machines, scissors, rotary cutters, irons, needles, and electrical equipment, which may result in injury. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Positive Change, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and hosting facilities from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from injury, illness, or loss sustained during participation, whether for myself or my minor child. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Positive Change, LLC to obtain medical treatment if I cannot be reached, and I accept responsibility for any related costs. I grant permission for photographs and/or video taken during programs to be used for promotional purposes. I confirm that I am at least 18 years old or the parent/legal guardian of the participant, and I agree to these terms voluntarily. By checking the box below or signing electronically, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to this waiver. Refunds: All courses, classes, camps, and workshops are nonrefundable once you register. Registering reserves a seat for the full session, so payments are not refunded for missed classes or early withdrawal. Families on a payment plan are responsible for all scheduled payments.
