Homeschool class, Stanwood Cupcakes: No patterns. No worksheets. Real, hands-on sewing from day one. Every Fall session at Stanwood Cupcakes in downtown Stanwood, homeschool students grab a machine and start creating together, working side by side across grades and building skills at their own pace. Projects change with the season, so what students make depends on when they join, and every student leaves each session having built something themselves. Every project is different, every week is hands-on, and every student leaves with something they made entirely themselves. Includes a sewing machine and all fabric, thread, and notions for every project, bring your own machine if you'd rather use it. Taught by Stephanie Philbrick, founder of Positively Sewing, a self-taught designer with years of experience across her own collections and fashion shows, now teaching the next generation in a small group setting. A daytime slot built around homeschool schedules, with Stanwood Cupcakes right there if you want to grab something on your way in or out. Grades 2 to 12, homeschool students. Pick up: All participants must be picked up on time. Liability Waiver, Medical Consent & Media Release Positive Change, LLC By registering for or participating in any class, camp, workshop, lesson, or event hosted by Positive Change, LLC, I acknowledge and agree to the following: I understand that sewing activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to the use of sewing machines, scissors, rotary cutters, irons, needles, and electrical equipment, which may result in injury. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Positive Change, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and hosting facilities from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from injury, illness, or loss sustained during participation, whether for myself or my minor child. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Positive Change, LLC to obtain medical treatment if I cannot be reached, and I accept responsibility for any related costs. I grant permission for photographs and/or video taken during programs to be used for promotional purposes. I confirm that I am at least 18 years old or the parent/legal guardian of the participant, and I agree to these terms voluntarily.
